Securely Withdrawing USDT from Binance to Gate.IO

This tutorial will walk you through setting up security for your Binance account, withdrawing USDT from Binance to GateIO.
Step 1: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on Binance
Access Security Settings:
Navigate to your Binance account’s Security section. Click on Passkeys to set up additional security layers (see image below).
Set Up Passkey:
Binance offers passwordless login using Passkeys (see image below). Ensure to add a Passkey for enhanced security.
Ensure Google Authenticator is Active:
Under the Authenticator App section, ensure Google Authenticator is enabled for additional security. It should show as activated.
Security Checkup:
Verify your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) status in the Security Checkup screen to ensure your account is fully protected.
Step 2: Withdraw USDT from Binance to GateIO
Initiate a Withdrawal:
Go to your Binance wallet, select Withdraw Crypto, and choose USDT. Enter the amount you want to withdraw (in this example, we are withdrawing 21 USDT).
Confirm Withdrawal Address:
Input your GateIO USDT wallet address. Make sure the network you are using (BEP20) matches GateIO’s network for deposits.
Complete the Security Verification:
Confirm the withdrawal by completing 2FA, using both the Authenticator app and email confirmation.
Awaiting Approval:
After submitting your withdrawal request, you’ll receive a notification saying the transaction is awaiting approval.
Successful Transaction:
Once the transaction is approved, you’ll see a confirmation showing the successful transfer of 20.80 USDT (after the network fee).
Step 3: Confirm the USDT Deposit on GateIO
Onchain Deposit on GateIO:
Go to GateIO’s Onchain Deposit section and confirm that the USDT has been successfully received.
